What does "Beneath the Surface" parenting mean?

We believe that a child’s behavior is just the tip of the iceberg. The sudden outbursts, emotional meltdowns, or quiet withdrawals are external expressions of deeper, unmet needs or unspoken emotions underneath. Our resources help you look beneath the surface to decode the real reasons behind these behaviors so you can respond with connection rather than reaction.

What age groups are your resources for?

While the specific behaviors change as children grow, the foundational need for connection remains the same. Our current guides and resources are designed primarily for parents of toddlers through pre-teens, though the core principles of emotional regulation and connection apply to all ages (even teens and adults!).

How will I receive my digital guide or PDF?

Immediately after your purchase is complete, you will see a download link on the confirmation page. You will also receive an automated email containing a secure link to download your file.

I purchased a guide but didn't receive the download email. What should I do?

Technology can be tricky! First, please check your Spam, Junk, or Promotions folders, as automated emails sometimes end up there. If you still can’t find it after 10 minutes, just email us at hello@beneaththesurfaceparenting.com with your order number, and we will personally ensure you get your copy.

Can I print out the guides?

Absolutely! Our digital resources and PDFs are formatted beautifully for both digital viewing (on your phone, tablet, or computer) and standard printing. Many parents find it helpful to print out our visual tools or worksheets to keep on the fridge or at their desk.

What is your return policy for digital products?

Because digital products are delivered instantly and cannot be physically "returned," we generally do not offer refunds. However, your satisfaction and your family's peace of mind are incredibly important to us. If a resource did not meet your expectations, please reach out to us within 14 days of purchase so we can make it right.

Is my payment secure?

Yes. Our storefront is powered by Shopify, utilizing industry-standard encryption technology to ensure that your personal and financial information is 100% secure during checkout.

Do you offer 1-on-1 parenting coaching?

Currently, we focus on creating accessible digital guides, tools, and resources that parents can use at their own pace. However, we are always looking for ways to support our community!
